The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies to the community.

SASSA will be rendering providers for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency reported it is alarmed with regards to the significant range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a higher number of SRD clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office dedicated to service the area on a regular basis. The company stage designed for intervention ordeals a superior inflow of possible beneficiaries, which makes it challenging to the office to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more assets to permit the sassa status servicing of all shoppers and maximize usage of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
